Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to handling your information responsibly while protecting the interests of The Cancer Fund (the parent company), United Cancer Network (d/b/a of The Cancer Fund), its employees, creators, board of directors, officers, affiliates, and related parties (collectively, “United Cancer Network”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We may update this Privacy Policy at our discretion. Any changes will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date. In some cases, we may provide additional notice through the App, email, or other means, but continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We review and update this policy at least annually or as our practices or applicable laws change.

- Log Data: Timestamps, performance metrics, errors, diagnostics, and related technical information.

- Affiliates and Related Entities: Including The Cancer Fund and within our corporate family or network for operational, administrative, or business purposes.

We do not sell personal information to third parties in the traditional sense, but we may share data as described above to support our mission and operations.
Automated Decision-Making
We may use automated processes or algorithms to generate insights and personalize features based on your usage (e.g., content recommendations). These do not produce decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you. You may contact us for more details.

You may update certain profile or preference information directly in the App or by contacting support@UnitedCancerNetwork.org (or the current support email).
Certain rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability) may be available under applicable law (e.g., CCPA/CPRA for California residents, GDPR/UK GDPR for EEA/UK/Switzerland users). We will respond to verifiable requests as required by law, but we reserve the right to deny or limit requests where permitted (e.g., if burdensome, frivolous, or impacting our legitimate interests). To exercise rights, contact us at support@UnitedCancerNetwork.org.
Location Data: Manage via device settings; disabling may impair features.
Notifications: Control via device or App settings.
Marketing: Opt out of promotional messages via unsubscribe links or App preferences (transactional/service messages continue).

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide information at your own risk. In the event of a breach, we will act as required by law but disclaim further liability.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CANCER FUND, UNITED CANCER NETWORK (D/B/A OF THE CANCER FUND), ITS EMPLOYEES, CREATORS, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AFFILIATES, AND RELATED PARTIES PROVIDE THE APP AND SERVICES ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE).
Data Retention
We retain information as long as your account is active, as needed to provide Services, or for legitimate business, legal, compliance, safety, or archival purposes. Even after account closure or deletion requests, we may retain data where necessary (e.g., for legal defense, audits, fraud prevention, or aggregated analytics). We may anonymize data at any time for ongoing research, analytics, or archival purposes, after which it is no longer personal information. Deletion is subject to our operational needs and legal obligations.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age under law). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn of such collection, we will delete it promptly. Contact us immediately if you believe a child under 13 has provided information.
International Data Transfers
United Cancer Network (d/b/a of The Cancer Fund) is based in the United States. Data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or other countries, which may have different (potentially less protective) privacy laws. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where appropriate, but you acknowledge and accept the risks of U.S.-based processing.
